All’s Well That Ends Well directed by Chloe Bronzan and Speechless Shakespeare directed by Jacinta Gorringe will take center stage at this year’s Free Shakespeare By The River Festival, August 23rd- September 2nd at Foundry Wharf, 625 2nd Street in Petaluma.
All’s Well That Ends Well will be performed Thursday-Saturday nights August 23rd- Sept 1st at 7:00 pm. Speechless Shakespeare will be performed in its entirety on Sundays, August 26 & Sept 2nd at 4:00 pm. as well as pre-show vignettes Aug. 23-Sept 1st.
Audience members are encouraged to come early to enjoy the live music, juggling, and other pre-show fun! Bring your family, friends, a picnic, blankets and low chairs to sit on the Foundry Wharf Green while enjoying Free Shakespeare by the River!. There is a concession stand at all performances offering a variety of wine, beer, soft drinks, and snacks.

Auditions for Speechless Shakespeare, directed by Jacinta Gorringe, Saturday, and Sunday, May 19 & 20 at 12-2pm and 4-6pm. 90 Jessie Lane, Petaluma, CA 94952. Bring a 2-4 minute song, dance, an instrumental piece, etc. with a tie-in to Shakespeare, his plays, or sonnets. Looking for approximately 12 performers of all ages who present originality to celebrate Shakespeare’s characters, plots and themes through a variety of stage disciplines with a core ensemble as well as individual act. Actors, dancers, stage combat enthusiasts, jugglers, acrobats, accordionists, toe-tappers, roller skaters, rope-climbers, kazooists, hip-hoppers, foreign language speakers, sign language interpreters and comics encouraged.
